Job Description
Our client is a leading construction firm delivering complex, high-value projects across the [commercial / infrastructure / industrial] sector. With a strong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and quality execution, they are expanding their project controls team and seeking an experienced Scheduler to support planning and delivery on major programs.
Overview
The Construction Scheduler will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure successful project delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive schedule accuracy, identify risks, and support project decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and manage CPM schedules using Primavera P6(and/or MS Project).
- Work with project teams to create baseline schedules, update progress, and forecast timelines.
- Conduct critical path, resource loading, and what-if analyses.
- Identify schedule delays, risks, and opportunities; recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present schedule narratives, dashboards, and reports to internal teams and clients.
- Participate in planning meetings, progress reviews, and change management discussions.
- Coordinate with field teams to verify on-site progress and ensure schedule accuracy.
- Support schedule claims analysis if required (TIA, delay analysis).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6required; experience with MS Project is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and field operations.
- Experience in [vertical construction / infrastructure / industrial] projects preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
Certifications such as PSP, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous but not required.
