Job Description
We are currently in search of an experienced accident reconstruction engineer to join a specialist team of professionals on the West Coast.
Responsibilities:
- Successful candidates will operate as the lead engineer in the investigation and reconstruction of vehicle accidents and other complex failure analyses.
- Interface directly with clients
- Perform detailed analysis of mechanical failures related to product liability, design and safety.
- Provide technical insights and expertise cases.
- Conduct thorough vehicle, site, and evidence inspections
- Oversee and mentor junior staff
- Oversee field and technical work on investigations
- Expert witness and testimony in depositions and trials required
- Travel Required
About you:
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License
- P.E. Licensed
- ACTAR Accredited
- 5 years of experience in forensic and vehicle accident reconstruction.
- Experience testifying in deposition and courtroom settings.
- History of working independently with clients as primary lead on assigned cases.
- Demonstrated ability to provide direction and technical oversight to support personnel.
