They are seeking a dynamic, experienced Roofer to join their team and help lead the growth and operations of their roofing division in the Mid-Atlantic.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Roofing Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the roofing division, from project management and team leadership to sales strategy and operational efficiency. This leadership role will require a strong understanding of the roofing industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the roofing division, ensuring efficient project execution, high-quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct roof inspections using drone technology
- Consult with homeowners and build trust
- Deliver high-impact presentations on roofing solutions
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including the scheduling, coordination, and execution of roofing projects for residential and commercial clients.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the business and expand market share.
- Collaborate with the executive team to set division goals, budget forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Manage and mentor a team of roofing professionals, ensuring ongoing training, development, and safety compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed safety standards.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the roofing industry.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in roofing or construction management, with a demonstrated track record of success in leadership roles.
- RRO required.
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods, as well as local building codes and regulations in Washington, DC.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong business acumen, including experience with budgeting, sales, and profit & loss management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the roofing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in roofing software tools (e.g., project management, estimating, etc.) is a plus.
