Job Description
InGenivm Group are seeking a Senior Building Envelope Consultant to assist with the technical and managerial oversight of the Construction Consulting Group on the West Coast. Successful candidates will have experience conducting Waterproofing Design, Consulting, Administration and Monitoring for New and Existing Structures.
Responsibilities:
- Peer review of construction documents including architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and submittals relative to the building enclosure.
- Remedial roof and envelope design for existing structures.
- Conduct property condition assessments.
- Performance evaluations and investigations on building enclosure and roof components.
- Field testing of roofing, waterproofing, window and curtainwall systems.
- Quality assurance site inspections
- Technical report documenting and writing
- Project management / technical/managerial oversight of building enclosure and roofing projects
- Mentoring staff
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture/architectural engineering/civil engineering/structural engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in related field to renovation/ rehabilitation of existing structures
- Hold a professional RA or PE license or have the capacity to acquire a license
- Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written
- Adept in working with and interpreting structural analytical and design software
- Proficient ability in AutoCAD or Revit
