Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accident Reconstruction Engineer to join our team in Colorado. This is a commission-based position that offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact business growth while leveraging your engineering expertise. You will be responsible for analysing and reconstructing vehicle accidents, conducting investigations, preparing reports, and providing expert testimony in court when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough accident scene investigations, including the collection of physical evidence and data.
- Utilize accident reconstruction software to develop and present detailed reports and conclusions.
- Analyze crash data, vehicle dynamics, and environmental factors to determine the cause and severity of accidents.
- Collaborate with clients (law firms, insurance companies, etc.) to provide expert analysis and advice.
- Prepare and present detailed accident reconstruction reports for legal purposes.
- Offer expert testimony in court as needed.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, generating business opportunities and driving growth.
- Stay current on advancements in accident reconstruction technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field) or equivalent experience in accident reconstruction.
- PE License preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in accident reconstruction or a related field.
- Proficiency with accident reconstruction software (e.g., PC-Crash, HVE, or similar).
- Strong and proven track record of developing business and providing expert witness testimony.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience working with legal teams, law enforcement, and insurance companies.
- Expert witness experience is a plus.
- Ability to generate and maintain client relationships, driving revenue growth.
Compensation & Benefits:
